Why Should You Vote For…
I recieved an email from a Magsaysay International with a subject “Do you know your candidate?”. The first part of the body has large text saying, “Why should you vote for Vic Magsaysay for Senator?”
I guess the candidates’ PR teams have discovered email. I’m curious with how and where they got this list. Looking at the ‘to’ field, it seems that the email was sent to local bloggers including two email addresses of Sir Joel and three belonging to Janette Toral of Digital Filipino. The list ranged from names beginning with H to M.
I do hope that the source of this list is not from a form that I submitted that had a Privacy Policy that said it wouldn’t give away my email address.
I want to reply to this email and ask a couple of questions. As a challenge to this Magsaysay dude’s PR team, I’m waiting for them to post a comment on this post. I’d like to know if they see blogging as another medium for communication/PR, if they even read blogs or watch the local “blogosphere”.
