Back With A Vengeance
When I was a kid, I used to go to my cousin’s to play with Matchbox cars, Lego’s, giant puzzles and games on their 386. I have this huge fascination with airplanes. My uncle used to work at PAL so it was fueled even more.
One of the games that they had in their 386 was Wings of Fury. I loved playing it although I never got out of first mission.
I’m playing it again in hopes of beating the game. Now that I’m bigger, stronger and probably smarter, I have a slightly higher chance of getting that goal.
This game wasn’t really intended for kids. Maybe supergenius kids but not ordinary kids. This game applies some of the laws of physics and some serious mathematic calculatons. This game is definitely a keeper.
If I ever get to disprove my infertility and get grandkids, I’ll show them this game and challenge them to finish this.

This is how it looks like in lower altitudes.

This is how it looks like when your plane goes higher. Back in the old days, this game probably had one of the best graphics engine.
Some thoughts by wise Mokey…
- Ang kuripot naman ng Navy, isang eroplano lang.
- Pano kaya nila nasasakto yung bomba nung unang panahon?
Here’s another game that’s probably familiar. It’s called Out Run, I think I saw this at some penny arcade. This game is nothing compared to Wings of Fury.

SEEEEEEEEEEGAAAAAAAA (there were only monophonic speakers back then though)

In addition to a chick as navigator, you get blessed with Indian virgins as a prize.
