Fear Factor

Something’s wrong with my system right now. I’m having problems sleeping and I don’t have that much appetite. I’m not depressed nor in love as Franco said.

Anyway, I saw this posted at our client’s “lobby”…
Announcement

The picture was taken with the new receptionist’s camera phone. Why I included that information is for you to know.

My work is going to be used as a basis for payroll. That’s good because that means I gained some of the client’s trust (I think). But that scares me too because a small mistake could lead to somebody getting a deduction in their pay. Or worse, the possibility of losing their job.

I have faith in my work but the architecture that it was based on relies on a very controlled and highly monitored environment. With more than 200 seats, that’s pretty hard to achieve. They finally got the right name of the system (barely). I know, it’s not the best name for the system but there’s an internal joke to it.

I heard rumors that biometrics will be implemented soon. It would kick ass if it can be integrated with the system. I hinted them on using RFID. There’s also a proposal for a “new” way for agents to log in to the system.

I gave some more crazy ideas from my malfunctioning brain. Like implanting the RFID chips and do it Big Brother style. They could also get seats that can recognize the person’s bottom so they don’t have to log in. All they have to do is sit down and they’re logged in.

Ahh, so many ideas, so little time.

  • Hehe, babawi na lang sa third revision.
