Last Rant for 2006

You know what I hate* don’t like about people celebrating new years? The random explosion of fireworks.

Don’t get me wrong, I love playing with fire and pyrotechnics. It’s just that it’s annoying when it’s random and not art. Watching sparks fly is acceptable but noisemakers are definitely pointless.

I hope someday that people with fireworks on new years will gather in one place and blow themselves up. Okay, that was not what I meant to type. Just a brain fart. Seriously (sort of), I hope that people will gather together and organize the fireworks. It’s more enjoyable if the explosions happen in a constant rate or a pattern.

Or better yet, all fireworks should have electronic triggers with wifi that connect to the internets. Then it’ll be remotely controlled by some server. Now that’s collaboration! Not to mention that it’ll be dead accurate too.

Speaking of fireworks, I’ll be going to the 2007 World Pyro Olympics. I’m going with my friends this year. Last year, I treated my whole family but it’s not that enjoyable when they’re not into it. We were even late and missed the first part.

*hate is too strong. No, this is not a new year’s resolution.

electric triggers are being used by major shows, maybe it is expensive. But is much safer than lighting a firecracker…

Not really expensive because most of it is reusable. Professionals use a different kind of setup.

if you think you can do a better job on blowing things up, why dony you buy a couple, i know a place in bocaue that sells cheap fireworks/firecrackers, get a couple of those big bangers, and then shove it up your ass, then blow it up on a constant rate, thats a pattern i oould pay to see.
