Busted Intertubes

The tubes are busted! I think the Taiwan quake shook a couple of pipelines laid accross the Pacific. There have been a lot of packet loss. It’s almost getting better, I can access Google Reader and GMail now.

Unlike this afternoon, the link to Yahoo! was erratic and latency was very high. Anything from Google was inaccessible.

The tubes are getting filled! It’s the end of mankind!

    inq7 has a news about this. Some international link was broken with the quake. Bayantel said that they are rerouting it to singapore and it will return to normal after 2 weeks!!! Wahhhhh….

    but as i said i’m still thankful that i am safe and only the net is busted…

    Globelines is now routed through HK. There’s still a lot of packet loss though.
