Cursed Food

I must have ate something bad. Yesterday, I went to Alabang to get my new mouse replaced. Stupid me bought a P/S2 mouse which my laptop didn’t have. On the way there, I noticed how bad the traffic was so I decided to kill time. I think I spent an hour at PC Express, they seriously need to change how they do things there.

I rented a computer and decided to work for a while. Then I went to Power Books to browse for books that I might want to buy. I also asked if they have “How would You Move Mount Fuji“, an old book that I wanted to buy years ago. Finally, I dropped by Music One to get Mindi Abair’s “It Just Happens That Way”. But all those deserve another post.

I went to work and got home around 4 in the morning. Before I went to bed, I left a note that said, “Lunch is on me.” I woke up around 11, took a shower and treated my family for lunch at Rose and Grace’s.

I was planning on taking them to Tagaytay but my sister was leaving for Cebu so time wasn’t enough. It was even supposed to be yesterday but my dad wasn’t home. At least we got to take a family photo, even if it wasn’t enough.

Then, our DSL line got deactivated and found out that I lost my brother’s phone somewhere (with my SIM card in it). I slept the rest of the afternoon hoping that everything would be okay when I wake up. I called technical support and at the same time, the bill for three months came in the mail. Nobody noticed that we weren’t recieving the bill. Now I have to go out through the dense roads to get to Alabang to settle the account.

Now, I’m at a nearby 24-hour Korean computer café. Luckily, I can plug in my laptop here. Fred was here, watching some Jap cartoons with his brother. Things just couldn’t get any worse.

  • well they are koreans... hehehe. I havent been to one though.
  • Got that!

They have fast DSL connection because they pay a lot (I think). Download speeds were around 180-200KB/s. That's faster than my connection at home but once you've tasted a DS3 line, anything else below 20mbps is friggin slow.
  • how come they have fast dsl? they import it from s korea or something hehe... or they just have too much money to spend..

anyway jp pls. update my link here to blog.vmyap.uni.cc. thank you..
  • Oh yeah! You can drink too! And the seats are damn comfortable.
  • Korean inet cafe rocks. they have massive internet speed. makes you think your dsl connection is a dial up. I know this one place in kamias where you can have a download rate of 800kbps constantly. but hey they dont allow to bring your own laptop though. and YOU CAN EVEN SMOKE!!!! what more can you ask for? I ask for my laptop to be with me all the time though.

and by the way. Im still promoting that http://www.manyakis.info forum that I created. Enjoy the manyakis bashing at its finest!

    :D
