Shopping for Firefox Extensions
I checked out some Firefox extensions. It’s guaranteed that you’ll always find something cool or interesting everytime you browse for extensions. Usually, I end up installing 3/4 of what I find then keep only half of them. I only got to check the Tabbed Browsing category.

- Vertical Tabbar – Moves the tab bar to the right as a vertical pane. I love it, I’d be madly inlove with it if I had the option to put it on the left side.
- SubmitToTab – Submits the form to a new tab. Works with the middle-click like a charm.
- Split Pannel – Although the author mispelled the extension, it’s still a very useful extension for extreme multi-taskers like me. Also good for comparing two pages or how a page will look on Firefox or IE (with IETab). The only downside is that I don’t like the pane to appear on the other tabs. AdBlock Plus doesn’t seem to work with the other pane too. This is progress to a feature that I want. Complete screenshot here.
- PageStyle2Tab – Get a snazzy tab bar. But I’m using Vertical Tabbar so it doesn’t look so cool. This one’s not a keeper. I’m sure it’ll look smashing with the standard tab bar though.
