What did I do for the past hour? I did not study nor work on a school project nor plain ol’ work.

I was the middle man for Jup’s new domain and Edwin Kamote informed me that .us domains are available for PhP219. So I started asking around what .us domain I can come up with. I wanted a local brand with a spike of humor. I was asking a lot of people that my instant messenger crashed. When I got to login again, I started a conference.

We came up with a social networking site that will be called niyap.us. Yes, I wanted a lot of malice. If my observation with the common Filipino behavior is correct, this will click. Scandal and malice sells. I was laughing my ass off when we were coming out with ideas. I think it’s not the right time to disclose what we came up with. But it sure will be fun as it the idea materializes.

What do you think? As someone said in the river of messages that if it sells hot enough you’ll hear a person on a street ask, “yapusin mo naman ako.“
