PS3 vs Wii

Have you seen the Mac ads? If yes, you might want to see the Wii version. Based from what my friends prefer, the PS3 is going to click here in the Philippines. Only the hardcore gamers will get the XBOX 360 or the Wii here.

Me, I still don’t like game consoles. I didn’t even find Gameboys amusing. The only game console I had, like I said before, is the good ol’ Family Computer. I don’t even know how the PS3 and Wii looks like. What I’ll remember is that the Wii is some sexy and average-hottie gaming console.

Oh and yeah, the PS3 can run Linux and powered by 64-bit IBM RISC processors like the old Macs.

P.S. There are Japanese versions of the Mac ads that are funnier.

a console is a specific device for playing video games.specific, it means that its priority are for games only while the PC can also play games but inorder to play good games(hi-end games like Half-life 2) u need a fast PC. But if u have a gaming console like the ps2 or ps3, u dnt need to upgrade anything..

Besides, Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4 can only be played on the PSx..and that game rocks ^^

AND..it doesnt mean that if u play at home u cnt socialize with people...

1. what kind of cables does the Wii come with?
2. Is there a VGA-adapter coming out anytime soon?
3. If i use the s-video cable, will the remote still sense the screen on which my projector projects the image onto?

Ano ba yung game console? ang alam ko lang e family computer na meron 1000 in 1 na cartridge.

Bat kailangan ng mabilis na mabilis na game console kung meron naman pc? sa games ba? dahil sa graphics? sa fluidity ng graphics? o yung fps nya? kung gusto ko mag laro ng malupit na games lalabas na lang ako at pupunta sa timezone para makapag socialize na rin :(

aint nothing wrong playing games all the time but you need to be outside to enjoy life.

i want both xbox 360 and PS3 hehe... But i'll wait till the prices goes down to 15K hehehe or till i can afford one... The nice thing about all the console system is that all of them support openware os. Also Microsoft I think released their HD-DVD drive for used with xbox 360 and pc.

hmm Wii also run linux! Redhat is providing linux os for PS3. PS3 has a horrible launch due to gamestop store robbery, some kids got shot outside a store while waiting for his PS3, stuff inside some cars were stolen. That was a horrible launch for a console. Xbox 360 and Wii was a quite one.

hardcore gaming?? Wii is much more of family oriented console (games like mario) plus the new controller is good for exercising and work put.

Hardcore gamers are more likely goes with PS3 and Xbox 360, because of the titles.

Hardcore gamers will get the PS3, price tag is $600, 200 more from what microsoft first release the xbox 360, i don't know if that is the 20GB version or the 60 Gb. Price here in manila no wonder (60K).

Xbox 360 cost around 20K na lang for the premium version. I also saw one being sold on the net for $300 and $150 through special discount.

hardcore gamers will buy both PS3 and Xbox 360. fanboys will buy either one. hehe.
