Notes from a dry run of SabayonLinux
Before I forget to post them, these are my notes from using SabayonLinux for a couple of minutes.
- Beryl isn’t enabled by default. To enable, boot with the AIGLX kernel option. Type
sabayon aiglx in the boot menu.
- Like Kororaa, it’s Gentoo-based.
- Like Knoppix, the desktop engine is KDE.
- It comes with Google Earth!
- Startup is longer than any other live CD I tried except Ubuntu‘s.
