An Alternative to WinSCP

I found another SFTP client this afternoon because the WinSCP+iTunes combo ate up my CPU. Bitvise’s Tunnelier uses less CPU and somehow, it’s a whole lot faster than any other SFTP client that I have ever used. It also comes with a[n] SSH client that uses the native command line. It’s great but since it acts like the Windows command prompt, I can’t maximize the window so I still prefer PuTTY.

They also have a win32 SSH Server but I have no use for it. It looks like their library was based from cygwin. Besides WinSCP, I also used FileZilla before but it’s slower than WinSCP.

So there you go. A day in the life of a GNU/Linux software developer working on a Windows machine.
