Doomed

Saturday, July 30th, 2005

This week’s just not good. I went to Eric’s place (a couple of steps away) to test if my board or if my processor is the one with the problem. It seems both.

Then last Friday’s score was twelve to five in favor of Westgrove Indo Team. Better than eleven to nothing I guess. Improvement?

I had more stuff to write but I didn’t want to degrade my self-esteem anymore. So…that’s it for now.

By the way, Eric has a new Vios 1.3E, not so bad. Low on gas consumption and spacious interior. Spread the news, we have a new ride for road trips!!

Thoughts Of Mass Destruction

Thursday, July 28th, 2005

I’d like to turn back time right now.

I think I busted another motherboard or fried the processor.

Sometimes I feel like my mom should just shut the hell up if she doesn’t know what I’m doing.

I’m annoyed at how things went today. I’m starting to question how things are done at school.

Nearing Decapitation

Wednesday, July 27th, 2005

Near the ankle of my right shin is a nasty bruise (internal hemorage) from football yesterday. It was just a lump last night. If this doesn’t get better next week, I’ll have a doctor look at it. I noticed it just now. <Warning: R-18> Don’t scare yourself.

Technology Day tomorrow (28) then Amazing Race (DLS-C style) and first football game for this school year on Friday (29). I need your support!

Somebody’s celebrating her birthday on the 30th too.

All I Hear Is Yer Barkin

Monday, July 25th, 2005

My mom just barged in the room and was asking for a USB. Knowing that she’s computer illiterate, I knew she meant that by a USB thumb (flash) drive but I didn’t know what she was referring to. So I answered back with a “Huh?” and a blank face. Blame the techie’s who failed to teach the right term for it. Idiots.

My brother needs one because our floppy drive is broken. I think his school (LBA School) needs to move on. The three and a half-inch diskette drive and its removable media has proven to me how it has been very unreliable. I’ve replaced diskette drives over ten times already and gave up and diskettes lose a lot of data making it extremely disposable.

I’d rather let him burn it on a CD, it’s even cheaper. There are other alternatives too. The internet is a very reliable media too. Why not use that?

Lost In The Midst Of The Society

Mood: Confused
Music: Acoustic Alchemy - The New Edge

My mom just went on a mood swing because my dumbass brother did something incredibly stupid. I worry about my brother’s mental condition, it’s like his brain is undergoing a physical aging in reverse. Anyway, Mom was just talking calmly and was even using me as a bad example until all the anger suddenly exploded. She said in her calmest way, “You know what, I want to slap you, punch you, sdfgbalkjhfbvaw”. Then she checked out what my brother was reading and she freaked out man when she found it was just some weird book about some weird psychic. At this moment, she’s still barking.

It’s just great, now I can’t ask money for my football uniform tomorrow. If Dad was here, I could ask for some money since he played football too. He left for China last week (don’t know when).

Looking on the brighter side, I only had one class today. OOANALD and INTSYST was called off in some way. I got to help and talk with Ate Camille too.

This coming Thursday will be our Technology Day (at school). I hope all goes well. I’m a bit worried about the sponsors.

For those who know me, I’m retiring from my job as a layout artist in a secret, underground newsletter. I’m having problems allocating time for it and some issues with my personal preferences and the content. I think I’m better off writing.

Happy Birthday, Go Away!

Sunday, July 24th, 2005

Last night was Boogs and Mokey’s Birthday Celebration and Ced’s Going-Away Party. Well, sort of. But yeah, almost the whole batch was there. I got a few shots and most of them for the wrong purposes. Then I got tired of going around looking for something else interesting to capture.

The lighting condition was very bad. I didn’t even include some of them. For those who missed it, here you go.

Finally Unwired

Friday, July 22nd, 2005
Mood: Thrilled
Music: Weather Report - Italian Weather

Woohoo! I’m finally on WiFi! Many thanks to JC for buying it for me. Pardon my laziness.

I just checked how far it can go. From the gate of the village (near our house), it can reach up to the third house after the second corner. Then following Strauss Street (first left from the village gate), it dies after passing a house (two concrete walls, one of them is our firewall). I’ll try later on if it can reach Angel’s house. I added encryption to the network when I found out that the signal covers five or more houses.

I’m starting to get labeled as boss again. Luckily there’s no stress or tone like in my high school days. Hell, even Kath called me that once. Am I that bossy?

Music: Jaco Pastorius - Live in New York - Volume II

Today’s one lazy day filled with slacking. Maybe it’s because something’s missing.

I found my camera today! It was just buried by my clothes. Haha, my bad. I took a shot of my desk. I don’t know why. Maybe because I spend hours in front of it. I downloaded the photos from my uncle’s book launch too. Man this is so overdue.

I asked JC to buy me a Wireless Access Point and I can’t wait for tomorrow. My next target is a joystick. I want to fly planes. A little bit more information about my desk, over here.

Don’t Flee

“Go on honey, take a chance”, scary lady from Coming to America. I saw it again at HBO. I got some advise from Sir Xerxes regarding my DIFFCAL class. Like he said, “sayang”. Another quote from a football mug, “You’ll miss 100% of the shots you don’t make”. I have like five more math courses to take and if I won’t take them, nothing’s going to happen. Pass or fail, in mistakes you will learn.

Anyway, it’s Boogs’ birthday today. Other than that, today sucked. I was supposed to buy a Wireless Access Point but I forgot to count my money yesterday.

Then yesterday, what do I have to say about yesterday? Err…uhh, yesterday was scary mhaaan! I hate getting calls from someone not in my phonebook. Joy was back from the States and she wanted to surprise Gian (pop slash skyflakes) and I didn’t have her number. His reaction was just ugh, “Nandito na pala ‘tong gagong to”. I was hoping for something usual. It was funny though.

Later that night, Apple called at the house. Now that scared me more. After I found out that it was her, I asked how she got my friggin’ number. Man, I should stop doing stupid shit to scare myself off.

I seriously want to form a new band. Otherwise, I’ll work more on football.

Plug: I’m starting to hate fuckin Xanga. I might stop updating my account there. Xanga is for suckers.

Of Spam And Mean Jokes

Sunday, July 17th, 2005

Last Thursday, I went to Microsoft’s office for the FSAP cascading briefing. We missed the Adobe CS2 Roadshow by the way. I took public transportation that time and it’s been a while since I did. There’s one thing I have to say for that. I really hate our public transportation system. Let’s put the whole infrastructure to have a better picture.

You’d see the sour look on my face as I walked through the heavily polluted air and smelly streets. I can’t believe that people can tolerate this. This is in the Alabang terminus area. Our buses suck to. They’re all fucked up and overcrowded. The seats are so small that only half of your ass would fit.

It was Jason’s birthday too. Man, I miss jamming with him. A very talented and unbiased musician. Be blessed.

Actually, I completely miss jamming. I need a new band now. Anyway, I’m seriously thinking of dropping DIFFCAL. I need advice!

I’m saving for a new PC. I don’t want to upgrade the current one since Socket A has just been phased out. Not really phased out but it will soon be because AMD just stopped production of processors for the said slot.

I’ve finished most of the stuff that I needed to do. I’m down to two or three things to finish. Below is a screenshot taken a few minutes back. There was a better one last night but when I uploaded it to PhotoBucket, it got resized. So I made a new one and improvised. There was more to share on the previous one but read everything on this one to get my point.
